How did we get here? How the hell...
Pan left - close on the steeple of the church
How did I get here? How the hell...
Christmas, Christmas Eve - last year
How could a night so frozen be so scalding hot?
How can a morning this mild be so raw?
Why are entire years strewn on the cutting room floor of memory
When single frames from one magic night forever flicker in close-up
On the 3-D Imax of my mind
That's poetic, that's pathetic
Why did Mimi knock on Roger's door and Collins choose that phone booth Back where Angel set up his drums?
Why did Maureen's equipment break down?
Why am I the witness?
And when I capture it on film
Will it mean that it's the end
And I'm alone?

Well... this is the first drawing from my New Year's resolution.

Why I choose Hallween? Well, when I had seen the deleted scenes on the DVD I fall in love with this one. I loved the colors, the backgroud, and all the emotional force in Anthony Rapp interpretation. I wanted to express all of that in adrawing.

And... many times I feel something like the song: I'm only the watcher, while my friends get in love and then break and get in love again... you know ¬¬ The truth is that I like to observe ald listen the others, his feelings and stories... but I want to have my own love story...

It was more tan 5 hours of working: I start drawing the graveyard and Mark with pencil. Only Mark is inked, all the background is colored pencil work, and the graveyard has no inks to make it more.... real.

I'm very proud about this.

I know the feeling exactly actually. Around Christmas last school year I felt like I could relate with Mark in this scene. *sigh*
I AM the 'Mark' of my group.

Yo should be proud of it. The onlooker's story is often overlooked, and what is wonderful about Rent his you see everything, all the drama of everyone else, through an artist's eye who hasn't a love story of his own
